1 - Check your keyboard's version

Menu > P2 (under the right screen) > Utility > Version
if the version is 2.01, go to step 3. if not, go to 2. step and update your device


2 - Updating the Roland E-A7's operating system

Prepare a clean (formatted) usb disk
Please don't use your Hakan Çebi usb sound set disk for this step
Download and open ea7v201.zip file and copy the files to your empty usb disk

IMPORTANT: YOUR USB DRIVE MUST CONTAIN THESE FILES AND FOLDER BEFORE STARTING THE OPERATION!
YOUR DEVICE WILL NOT UPDATE THE SYSTEM SOFTWARE IF THERE IS A FILE MISSING OR EXTRA FILES!

Power off your keyboard
Remove the usb disk from your computer and connect it to your keyboard
Press and hold the "Tab" button and power on your keyboard
Release the "Tab" button when the Update mode screen appears
Update may take some time
Update will finish when the Success message appears
Power off your keyboard and remove the usb disk
If your device's operating system has been updated to 2.01, skip to step three


3 - Hakan Çebi usb sound set activation

Power off your keyboard
Connect your Hakan Çebi usb sound set disk to your keyboard
Power on
Press Yes when the You must be activated to use this usb memory message appears
Press Ex when the Are you sure message appears
Update may take some time
Activation will finish when the Successful activation of this usb memory message appears


4 - Hakan Çebi usb sound set load

Menu > P2 > Utility > Restore > Yes

USER PROGRAM LOCK SETTING

SCALE TUNE

Make sure that the "Scale / Pad" button under the main volume pot is lit

Give the desired note a coma with the 12 buttons under the "Scale / Pad" button (-50)

For fine tuning, select Menu> User Program Edit> Scale Tune

Use 3 "Scale Memory" buttons to save your settings

When you press one of the 3 buttons and hold for 2 seconds, your settings are saved to that button

You can switch between your saved coma settings and remove the coma from all notes with the "Equal" button.

To open and close the coma settings of the Accompaniment, upper1, upper2, upper3 and lower sections separately
